An award winning PR and medical communications agency is seeking an Account Director / Senior Account Director to join their team in Central London.

This role will be at the forefront of creating and delivering innovative global health and wellness campaigns for prescription medicines. You will be accountable for client relationships and will be aware of the status of that client business at all times. You will direct your team effectively whilst ensuring that their professional development needs are taken into account when allocating work. You will also play an active role in business development, proactively looking for new opportunities and leading efforts to secure them.

- Lead and direct account activities for assigned accounts
- Provide effective support to your internal teams
- Manage team resources
- Support client business directly
- Responsible for own professional development
- Proactively working with your clients to share and act on new information; to inject fresh thinking into an account or project; to seek feedback from their senior management.
- Working with the finance team to identify/pre-empt and act on wider financial issues and coaching others on compliance with client

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Life Science / Communications degree
- Significant previous experience of running ethical PR accounts gained in an agency environment
- Experience of line managing more junior members of a team
- Excellent communications skills; written, oral, presentational
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Excellent attention to detail
