Full training in provided.,You will need up to date mandatory training and A valid DBS is essential, however if you do not have one you can apply for one with us.

Job Description:-

Assist residents who require help in feeding, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and the toilet;


Help residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence. Help in the use and care of aids and equipment;


Play your part in contributing to the care of all residents and to be conversant with the individual Care Plan for each resident;


Help care for residents who are dying;


Make and change beds, tidy rooms, empty commodes, etc. Carry out such cleaning tasks as may be allocated by the trained staff on duty;


Assist with simple repairs to residents’ clothing and undertake laundry as required;


Set tables and trays, serve meals, clear and tidy the dining room, cleaning the floor if necessary;


Make drinks and prepare light meals as required;


Answer emergency bells, giving or summoning assistance as required. Answer the door, assisting visitors. Answer the telephone, transferring the call or taking an accurate message;


Carry out such duties which may reasonably be required within the framework of the post;


Maintain a very high standard of cleanliness and hygiene and the highest standard of care practised at all times, the residents always being treated in a kindly, patient and courteous manner.






To be a Healthcare assistant, you'll need to be

caring and kind
