Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Swindon

At IMH, providing patient care is at the heart of what we do, and we don’t want to stop there. We currently have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner role available in , Swindon. The details are:


Annual salary of up to £50,000 (pro-rata)
NHS Pension
Medical Indemnity costs covered
25 - 40 hours per week (days/hours flexible)
6 weeks' equivalent annual leave + bank holidays
Role available immediately


Practice Profile:


GMS Contract
The Practice has three purpose-built surgeries and two with on-site pharmacies
Clinical skill mix consists of GP Partners, Salaried General Practitioner, GP Registrar, ANP, Triage Nurse, Minor Illness Nurse, HCAs and Phlebotomists
Patient list size 17,000
GP Training Practice
Modern GP technology used in practice including Practice Intranet and Arden's Consultation Support software.
SystmOne clinical system
Practice open hours Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8.30am to 7.30pm, Thursday 7.30am to 7.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm
Swindon is a large town in Wiltshire, often referred to as the Gateway to the Cotswolds, one of England’s areas of outstanding natural beauty, and also offers easy access to the world famous stone circles at Stonehenge and Avebury. Wiltshire is also home to the beautiful, historic towns of Salisbury, Chippenham and Devizes, which are only a short distance away. Swindon boasts fantastic transport links including regular trains to Central London in under 1 hour.


As one of our Advanced Nurse Practitioners you’ll have recent experience within a Primary Care setting, be adaptable, highly motivated and relish a challenge. You will be registered with the NMC, be an independent/supplementary nurse prescriber and hold an MSc/Post graduate diploma or equivalent. You will hold advanced assessment skills which include history taking, clinical examinations, diagnosis and initiating programmes of care.
