Highlights
  • See how powerful quantitative analytics can be within a world-class business
  • Get to grips with a specific set of models, products and technologies
  • Hone your skills on a unique business project

QA uses cutting-edge technology to solve complex problems. It harnesses advanced mathematical and programming skills. And it gives us the tools we need to deliver for our clients. You’ll support our highly innovative work while learning from experts.

What to expect

Expect plenty of opportunities to make an impact. It starts with intensive training that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to get your internship off to a flying start. Then you’ll head straight to your team, where you’ll work on a unique project for the business. And at every stage, a Quantitative Analytics Associate will guide your progress.

How you’ll develop

From day one, you’ll start building your understanding of the models, products and technologies associated with a particular business or risk function. And you’ll always be able to count on support from senior in-house experts. Their advice and encouragement will strengthen your confidence and help you sharpen your skills. Performance coaching, social events and the chance to take part in projects outside of Quantitative Analytics will also help you expand your network and develop. Do well and, at the end of your Internship, we may offer you a place as a full-time Quantitative Analytics Associate.

Who thrives here

We expect excellence (completed or working towards PhD or Masters) in a technical discipline such as Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or similar. Logical thinking, problem solving, mathematical and programming skills (C++, Python or R) are all essential, as are communication skills and teamwork. On top of that, you’ll need to be curious, think beyond the obvious, have a flair for problem solving and enjoy being challenged.
