An amazing opportunity to work in a beautiful setting in Godalming.
Hedgehog Recruitment are working on behalf of a local Nursery who are looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 or 3 qualified Nursery Nurse/practitioner and Senior practitioner (2nd in charge) to work alongside the Room lead in the pre-school. All staff will join their experienced established team within there stunning nursery, pre-school and after school club.Children from 3months - 12 years.The 2nd in charge /senior practitioner role is available for an experienced level 3 practitioner looking for career progression. You will be working with the Room lead to help run a busy and exciting pre-school unit.

The successful applicant will be required to:

-Have a passion for children and childcare-Have a minimum QTS, NNEB, NVQ/CACHE Level 2/3
-Have some experience of working with babies/toddlers,preferably in a nursery setting.
-Be a team player who is able to demonstrate a willingness and ability to accept responsibility.
-Assist with the planning of a range of interesting, age appropriate activities for the EYFS curriculum.
-Create engaging learning environments.
-Have a key eye for health and safety and safeguarding issues.
-Be proactive, self-motivating and have an attention for detail.
-Be an extrovert; have an outgoing personality which is open and caring towards children.
-Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
-Have a good, professional level of spoken and written English.
