About Asset Management
Our Asset Management division offers a wide range of investment products and functions across asset classes and investment styles. We manage and fundraise for global and regional portfolios, mutual funds, alternative investment funds and other investment vehicles for governments, institutions, corporations and individuals worldwide.
As a member of the Asset Management team, you’ll be part of a group that is a core component of our integrated bank model. You’ll provide clients with access to diverse investment products ranging from alternative investments to multi-asset class offerings. We work with both in-house and third-party asset managers, all the while drawing on the expertise of Credit Suisse professionals based in 23 market centers around the world. We also participate in joint ventures with prominent partners.
About the Program
Our Asset Management Paid Internship Program runs for 10 weeks, from June to August and is open to 2019 graduates, and post-graduates who are interested in gaining an insight into Asset Management.
The majority of Asset Management internship positions sit within Credit Suisse’s Private Fund Group, the world’s leading placement agent in raising private investment capital. The Private Fund Group advises and raises capital for investment firms globally and is one of the largest and most experienced teams in the industry, having raised over $450 billion of capital for over 350 private equity funds since 1994. You’ll have an opportunity to work across illiquid private markets, encountering fund strategies focused on leveraged buyout, energy, real estate, distressed securities, mezzanine, credit, secondary, infrastructure and emerging markets.
Join us and you’ll become an important member of the team, while learning new skills and gaining valuable experience in the financial industry. You’ll enjoy structured training, gain on-the-job practical experience and have the opportunity to network with representatives from across the business.
Team with a senior mentor and junior banker “buddy” who will provide career advice and overall guidance and receive formal mid- and end-of-program evaluations based on objectives identified at the beginning of your placement.
To be eligible, you will have completed or be due to complete a Bachelors, Masters or PhD qualification (or equivalent) in any discipline.
All applicants must be in their final year of study (during the academic year 2017-2018), be available for the full 10 weeks and able to start full-time employment in July 2019.
