This state-of-the-art medical centre will provide 14 purpose designed consulting and treatment rooms, outpatients diagnostics and a second MRI scanner, increasing the capacity for both inpatient and outpatient services, enhancing our reputation for outstanding patient experience and care. This role works across the new facility and the existing hospital.
When you join Spire Healthcare, you can expect more than just a job. You can expect ongoing training and development, consistent support and guidance, and a collaborative team atmosphere in which our staff work together to put the patient at the heart of everything they do. This is particularly true in our imaging department, where you will deliver a high quality radiographic service to the patients. Making informed decisions on what kind of diagnostic imaging is required, your specialist knowledge will prove essential when identifying any abnormalities, alerting the relevant clinicians to your findings. Ensuring the patients are kept informed about the procedure, your incredible communication skills will prove invaluable – especially as you will also train and guide students, helpers and other radiographers, sharing your expertise wherever appropriate.
To thrive in this fascinating role, you will be a registered Radiographer with a relevant degree and experience in an imaging department. It would be an added bonus if that experience was gained in the private healthcare sector, but this isn’t essential – what is essential is that you have evidence of continual professional development (including an IV injection certificate of competence) and that you are committed to maintaining this knowledge by keeping up-to-date in clinical developments. With a good understanding of health policies and relevant bodies such as the Care Quality Commission, you will be a flexible team-player with the sensitivity to handle difficult situations.
