We are currently recruiting for a Physiotherapist to cover maternity leave for 10 months.
We are a 45 bed Campus facility providing services for acquired brain injury and complex neurological conditions including behaviours that challenge. We are registered with Healthcare Improvement Scotland and the Care Inspectorate and have a very good rating.
We offer individual assessments, treatment and rehabilitation within a structured environment utilising a bio-psychosocial model. In addition the services offer long-term residential placements to clients with complex brain injury or neurodisability including those who require neuro palliative nursing care.
Our multidisciplinary team works closely with health boards and social services throughout Scotland to provide a seamless pathway of care.
As a Physiotherapist you will:
- Participate in the provision of high quality therapeutic activities, using a wide range of approaches
- Encourage independence and personal choice and help to provide an environment which is conducive to patients with varied and complex needs realizing their potential to live as independently as they can find possible
- Ensure that you provide evidence-based practice and are outcome focussed
- Communicate and liaise effectively within the multi-disciplinary team
Requirements and Benefits:
- Experience in dealing with brain injuries as a specialist clinical area.
- Initiative and creativity
- Have a minimum BSC or recognised postgraduate diploma in Physiotherapy
Our therapists must hold a current registration with the HPC and have a legal right to work in the UK.
