You will be a qualified Staff Nurse (RGN) looking to work full time/ part time in a theatre of a leading private hospital in Cheshire, Greater Manchester. This is a permanent opportunity for a staff nurse (RGN) to work in a fantastic hospital in Greater Manchester and is ideal for an RGN who is looking to develop their clinical skills within a theatre environment. Our private hospital in Cheshire offers a full range of surgeries, from minor procedures to major operations.
As a Nurse you will be required to achieve desired outcomes for Service Users in a person-centered way, carrying out nursing tasks and exercising clinical judgment in the provision of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respectful high-quality nursing and social care and support for people who use hospital services in accordance with their individual Support Plans, acting as a role model of excellent practice for colleagues at all times.
- Planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating individual care plans for service users.
- Practically assist people with tasks of daily living such as communication, social engagement, personal care, mobility and end-of-life care as directed in the Support Plan.
- Being competent in the administration of medication in accordance with the clients policies.
As Scrub/Theatre Nurse Key Skills and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with active NMC PIN number
- Candidate must have experience as part of an operating team,application of aseptic technique,wound management and infection control
- Ability to develop positive working relationships
- Experience in a number of roles including 'Scrubbed' role
- Work with minimum supervision
