My client is currently looking for an experienced Training Executive to take responsibility for the training and competence of all elderly Care Home employees, from induction to continuing professional development for the services across South Yorkshire region.
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure all care home staff have the relevant training and development to ensure competence in role, e.g. SOVA, moving and handling
- Ensure that every care home employee has an active training plan
- Create a Home specific training plans
- Maintain training records for each care home to drive performance as well as mitigate risk
- To feed into the recruitment plan around capability requirements ensuring this is factored into the training plan
- Deliver training into the care homes
- Manage the external training into the care homes
- Respond to and implement where needed Operational Manager action plans
- Undertake quality assurance checks to evaluate embedding of training
- Provide monthly training figures to Head Office
Person specification:
- Minimum of 2 years in training environment
- Qualified to PTLLS, equivalent or higher
- Passionate about training and committed to staff development
- Good organization and excellent record keeping
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, with good influencing skills
- Confident at delivering training sessions to groups as well as one to ones
- Reliable & punctual Requirement for role
- Must have clean driving license and have use of own vehicle for business purposes (car allowance will be given)
- Comfortable in working at different venues on a daily basis
