This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established IT Solution Provider within the Application and Network Performance Management market space.

The company is considered a trusted advisor to many of the UK's largest Enterprises, offering an exciting range of solutions, some of which are exclusively available via the company within the UK.

Job Purpose:

Due to consistent success and year on year growth, the company is looking to recruit an IT Support & Delivery Engineer to provide technical support services to the company's growing client base.

Duties / Responsibilities:

- To assist in the installation, configuration and handover of complete solutions to their client base.
- Handling of customer support enquiries via the telephone and email.
- Investigation of technical problems, attempting to resolve these using your own initiative.
- Maintenance and support of the company's internal IT assets.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation using the company's defined processes.
- To update Line Manager and other colleagues on assigned tasks and projects.
- To attend training courses and take responsibility for improving own knowledge via resources available.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience - Required:

Technical knowledge:
- At least 3 Years of experience Installing and configuring server based business applications to a defined specification.
- Experience of using a Service Desk / Ticketing System
- A good understanding of TCP/IP and networks in general.
- A good/excellent understanding of Windows and Linux and how to build servers.
- An understanding of the 7 layers of the OSI Model.
- An understanding of how applications are architectured (Web -> App -> DB for example).
- An understanding of enterprise wide solutions such as AD, Exchange, Windows servers, Linux servers etc.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience - Desirable :

- Experience of using Network or Application Management Tools (SNMP, Packet Capture, NetFlow etc)
- Knowledge of Service Orientated Architectures and API's.
- Experience of using a Service Desk / Ticketing System
- Knowledge of the ITIL / DevOps disciplines.
- Experience working with Enterprise Cloud Platforms and Technologies (i.e AWS, Azure etc)
