Sales Consultant - Digital Agency £18k - £22k

One of the North of England's fastest growing digital agencies is looking for a digital sales consultant to proactively help build, expand and manage new sales opportunities within the business. Working in offices in the heart of York, close to the train station and the city centre, you will be working with a team of 30 people across design, development, business analysis, and quality assurance to bring on new projects and clients to the business.

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the ideal candidate will have sales experience and be able to build excellent client relationships. Whilst experience within a Digital / Web Agency is highly desirable, candidates with a personal interest in web solutions / development would be considered.

As a consultant within the business, you will be exposed to some of the most exciting startups and corporates, tasked with implementing the latest business processes and helping clients understand how it can best fit to the needs of their own business.

The Role

- Prospecting and engaging with new top tier clients and building a gradual pipeline of new opportunities within the CRM.
- Help to manage with inbound leads and partnership channels to build maximum conversion ratio.
- Develop and refine the lead nurturing and qualification process.
- Work with sales and marketing to lead outbound marketing campaigns.
- Engaging in an initial requirement gathering exercises to understand the business and hand over to the discovery team for conversion.
- Working with the discovery team to help deliver a full specification and costed solution back to the client.
- Effectively manage a balanced pipeline of opportunities.
- To achieve and meet weekly / Monthly KPIs and targets.
- Reporting on a weekly basis to the executive teams on performance.
- Ensuring a thorough understanding of client goals and objectives for the product, including a technical understanding where applicable

The Requirements

Required

- Exceptional telephone and client manner, with an innate ability to ask the right questions.
- Have a mature, commercial and consultative approach.
- Have an ethical, honest and transparent approach to selling - bringing the right clients with the right solution.
- Be able to demonstrate track record of developing and maintaining significant customer relationships and attracting new business opportunities.
- A full clean driving licence

Ideal

- Proven experience in a technical sales role, ideally with an agency.
- Knowledge of development principles and lifecycle
- Experience of CRM (Hubspot), Jira, Slack, Balsamiq Mockups, Google Drive
