Lecturer in Plumbing

£24,833 - £33,344 per annum

37 hours per week

Indefinite contract

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge and experience of both plumbing and gas systems and processes. You will hold a Level 3 qualification in plumbing or equivalent and the appropriate ACS Gas Certificate. It would be desirable to have A1/V1 Assessor and Verification Awards.

As a Lecturer you will deliver high quality teaching and learning by providing students with a planned learning experience, managing the learning process and guiding and supporting learners. You will teach both full and part time students who are studying towards their Plumbing qualifications. To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate learners to success.

Experience of teaching, training peers or transferring skills to others are essential to this role as is a teaching qualification at Level 5. If you do not hold this teaching qualification then you must have the commitment to working towards it.

We ask for Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English to be held as a necessity or agreement to gain within 24 months
