Unity Developer - Mobile Games

This is an opportunity to join an exciting, credible and reputable agency working on online games, complex technical requirements and in time, their own games to launch into the marketplace.

They are looking for a highly capable, focussed, passionate and driven Unity Developer to lead the game development team in an exciting up & coming development agency.

They are a highly skilled, growing, energetic and award-winning mobile app & game agency who love to create user-centred, innovative, exceptional experiences and products. You will be working closely with all members of the team and will have a voice in how our current and future products will be taken forward.

Your role will involve you taking ownership of the game development arm of the business, which will be growing over the next 12 months.

- 3+ years of experience either in a development agency or client side (in-house)
- A portfolio of games and/or mobile apps you've previously created.
- Help identify and resolve potential issues in the development pipeline.
- Expert knowledge of C#, Unity & highly polished interface development
- Expert knowledge of Unity.
- Experience of Jira (or similar) is preferable, and a strong capability of managing tasks, estimating accurately, and executing on-time
- Must have strong background and deep understanding of 3D programming, physics, kinetics, mathematics, computations, algorithms, classes and object oriented skills.
- Candidates need to be well versed with Unity GUI, Object Oriented Design principles, and script writing in C#
- Strong knowledge of gaming servers (such as Playfab/Photon)
- Expert knowledge of Unity3D Pro including Unity GUI, asset bundles, materials/shaders, and iPhone & Android deployment.
- Graphics Development (Particle Systems, Shaders)
- A passion to create exceptional mobile games
- Experience in VR & AR
- Experience with client-server network programming and online games
- Experience with version control (e.g Git)
- Create and maintain high quality software documentation.
- You will have a do-all-it-takes attitude and meet deadlines, whatever the cost.
