The Finance Team

The Role (Vision)

Working from our Chester headquarters, the Credit Controller will report directly into the Credit Control Manager within this fast paced and acquisitive organisation and take responsibility for managing a section of the ledger to ensure acceptable levels of payments and indebtedness are maintained.

What you'll do (Objectives)

1. Reduce the DSO by successfully managing your own section of the ledger and ensuring payments are made promptly
2. Chase customer debt by telephone and email
3. Work with Account Managers to effectively resolve customer queries that are delaying the collection of monies owed and keep an accurate record of any invoices held in query
4. Aid in the forecasting of receipts for cash flow forecasting

How you'll deliver it (Strategies)

These will be determined by you, in collaboration with your manager, and you'll update them regularly to keep your contribution relevant as we evolve. You'll do this via your Personal VOS.

To help you be successful, we are looking for

1. Experience in managing high volume B2B customer accounts
2. An excellent telephone manner with the ability to deal direct with customers and their finance departments
3. The ability to effectively plan your workload
4. The ability to communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve any customer queries
5. Good computer literacy skills
6. A highly motivated individual who is target driven and able to work as part of a team
7. You will be able to demonstrate a positive, engaging, hard-working approach and exhibit the company values of Innovation, Quality, Excellence, Respect and Trust
