Gas and AC Compliance Manager

To monitor and review the engineering activity associated with gas and air conditioning across the Technical services business. Providing effective, accurate, guidance and information to management, employees and sub-contractors. Ensure compliance with Regulatory bodies i.e. Gas Safe and Refcom standards.
Compliance with Gas safe and Refcom standards
Communicating Gas safe and Refcom standards to Technical services engineers
Completing audits on engineers
Reporting issues relating to regulatory conformance to line management/ external bodies
Giving advice on Technical issues relating to gas and air conditioning.
Maintain records and documentation associated with the role in a timely fashion.
Register new starters with relevant body
Operating Environment, Framework & Boundaries:
To work within the Technical services business, auditing across the UK including Northern Ireland.
To work with the Technical excellence team.
Maintain clear safety plan for area of responsibility.
Contribute towards the companies objectives by meeting own performance targets.
Monitor and advise on operational gas and air conditioning activities with company procedures and appropriate legislation, ensuring improvements are implemented promptly.
Issue Gas and air conditioning safety bulletins via relevant communication methods.
Keep up to date with all requirements of Gas safe and Refcom.
Work in line with agreed standards and procedures ensuring consistency across the Technical services business.
Working across the whole Technical services business.
Reports to the HSEQ manager willing to work with the whole team.
Supporting frontline engineers with technical queries.
Advising management of compliance requirements and activities.
Communicate with external bodies, Refcom, Gas Safe, HSE, and EHO
Liaise with contract management where required on contract issues.
Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification in commercial and domestic gas with ACS accreditation. Higher national qualification or equivalent in engineering with commercial and domestic gas qualifications.
COCN1, CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
NVQ level 2/3 Plumbing / HVAC or related engineering discipline.
NEBOSH or IOSH health & safety qualification.
17th Edition (Desirable)
Commercial gas and AC compliance experience within the FM, building services or M&E industries.
Accredited to carry out gas systems and installations, by a UKAS accredited ACS assessment organisation.
