These opportunities are offered on a casual basis, within a community setting. (We also have the opportunity to work as a Senior Support Worker in this area, more information is available on our website). Our casual arrangements are very flexible and can fit around your life. We are looking for people with a wide range of availability and have shifts available in the days, nights, evenings and weekends. As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible - helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café. Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities - from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing. Being a Sense Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles. A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.
