1st Line Support Engineer - Windows / Linux

A 1st Line Support Engineer / IT Helpdesk Engineer is needed to join an exciting tech business that specialises in delivering first-class Audio Visual (AV) and Information Communication Technology (ICT) to an array of exciting organisations.

With services that span Audio Visual, IT, Communications and Infrastructure this innovative technology company have experienced huge growth and evolved into a business that plays an integral part in multi-million pound projects.

Working at the forefront of the business the 1st Line Support Engineer / IT Helpdesk Engineer will be the first point of contact for any technology query from internal teams and external customers. Whether you are prioritising tickets; logging support requests; responding to application and infrastructure alerts; troubleshooting and solving a wide range of technical problems; attending courses; watching online training videos or working with and learning about IT and AV Technologies (Linux, Windows, Exchange, Networks, Security etc.) you will be key in providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the UK.

To qualify. You could be a 1st line Support / IT Helpdesk Engineer / Technical Support Advisor / IT Technician / Junior Tech Support or similar we don't mind, your CV just needs to demonstrate:

  • Some experience or exposure to a technical support environment or handling time critical incidents;
  • Awesome customer service and communication skills with excellent attention to detail;
  • You are not afraid to try new things, make mistakes and learn by doing;
  • The willingness to be on call and occasionally work out of hours;
  • The willingness to occasionally attend client sites in London.
