Client Development Advisor - Rapidly Growing Law Firm
A leading & rapidly growing international law firm are looking for an outstanding BD specialist to join their London Markets team as a Client Development Advisor. The purpose of this role is to develop and implement strategic business plans to increase the quality and effectiveness of BD & marketing campaigns for this vital business area of the firm.
This is a full mix business development role where you will have the autonomy to achieve the business development objectives that support the firm's international ambition and strategically important industry and practice areas. The Client Development Advisor will focus on the profitable development and growth of clients driven by industry and practice lines in the UK and internationally where applicable. This will involve business planning, research & analysis, advising and coaching partners, bids work, leading steering groups in their meeting and some client feedback as well as account management. The role will also involve the management of a more junior BD specialist. You will be required to operate strategically, suggesting new and innovative ideas but with a hands-on approach as well to ensure that all initiatives are implemented resourcefully and correctly.
This firm are looking for the brightest talents out there so you will need to have a strong academic background allied to proven BD experience gained in a professional services environment and a good understanding of the insurance industry. The Client Development Advisor must have strong project management and communication skills and will be a creative and pragmatic operator who is comfortable working in a non-directive environment. Previous line management experience is also highly desirable.
