Our Client is an established & thriving International FTSE 100 Company based in the West End of London. This exciting opportunity requires exceptional candidates who possess the requisite level of communication skills and technology experience to provide 2nd/3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer Support to a Windows 10 Migration project.

The role as Infrastructure Support Engineer (2nd/3rd Line)

The position as Infrastructure Line Support Engineer entails working closely and reporting to the Network & Infrastructure engineering team. There is a broad range of works including trouble shooting and maintaining support calls within SLA. The role requires an energetic, engaging, dynamic and passionate individual with an excellent attention to detail to work on the following projects;

Azure experience essential

Windows 10 roll-out experience

Windows & Active Directory

SCCM ? packaging and deployment

Azure experience essential

Networking skills (Cisco)

The Infrastructure Support Engineer (2nd/3rd Line) candidate

Duties include;

  • Server operating system 2008/2012 R2

o Distributed File System

o NTFS Permissions

o Group Policy

o Active Directory

o Terminal Servers and remote Desktop

  • Exchange 2012 and online 365
  • Backups - maintain and reporting
  • Knowledge of ASA/Checkpoint/Juniper firewalls administration
  • Anti-Virus Symantec/Sophos
  • Knowledge in networking operations ideally up to CCNA standard
  • Knowledge of VMware administration
  • Knowledge of monitoring systems SolarWinds, PRTG, HP Insight Manager
  • Understanding of NAS - SAN any experience in EMC would be beneficial
