Location: Central London
Our client, a global property and investment company, is currently looking for a Group Finance Director. You will be responsible for the Financial Management and Leadership for the company, providing advice and guidance to the Executive Committee on the Financial Management and Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimise the company's financial performance and strategic position.
" To deliver strategic projections - profit & loss, cash, balance sheet etc as required meeting the potential development & Investment opportunities.
" To identify opportunities for business improvements, utilising financial models where appropriate.
" Model long range strategic plans for discussion with Executive Committee regarding future strategic direction.
" Advise on all potential future investments, evaluating risk, current and potential value, to the Executive Committee.
Monthly Management Reporting
" Consolidation of company's Monthly Accounts.
" To ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information on a
monthly basis to the Executive Committee & Beijing Head Office.
" Monitoring, advising and reporting on all Subsidiary business performance.
" To prepare the quarterly Board Reports incorporating consolidated profit & loss account, balance sheet, cashflow, capex and commentary.
" Delivery of executive summary information to enable swift decision-making
" Daily revenue flash reports
" Weekly cash journals
" Funding requirements
" Weekly (or as necessary) capex summary report
Budgeting and Forecasting
" To outline Budgeting and Forecasting time scales and expectations to Corporate office and all subsidiaries.
" To provide business unit and consolidated budgets, which accurately reflect the potential of the business and to help ensure that these are achieved.
" To consolidate company's Budget and prepare the annual budget presentation for approval by the Executive Committee.

Corporation and Deferred Taxation
VAT & Employment Taxes
" Experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, including experience of providing Financial Experience in controlling across a group of companies, preferably gained from HOSPITALITY/HOTEL industry, PRC company experience will be priority considered
" Strong analytical and communications skill, and with good business sense
" Fully qualified accountant (CFA, CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
" Excellent knowledge of SAP systems will be priority considered
