IT Project Manager - Sheffield City Centre - Salary up to 50000 plus benefits About the role Capita are looking for 2 new IT Project Managers to join a very close knit team working in Sheffield City Centre, delivering IT (software/infrastructure and Business Change) Project to a Local Government client About Capita We are the UK's leading provider of business process management and integrated professional support service solutions, with 68,000 staff across the UK, Europe, South Africa and India. Working very closely within both the team and with our client we deliver multiple IT projects, Software, Infrastructure and Business Change to our client. The purpose of the role is to manage multiple client projects, or independent large scale projects depending on the needs of the business, working under the direction of the Portfolio Manager. The project manager will ensure that all deliverables are produced on time and to budget and will involve matrix management of multiple work streams, typically, IT, Management Information, Planning, Recruitment, HR, Legal & Compliance, Finance and Operations, across multiple UK sites and off-shore. This role requires a confident, outgoing and hands on individual who is flexible and can adapt quickly to the demands of an outsource environment with multiple stakeholders. What you will do: Manage and deliver multiple medium to large business change projects to time, standard, and budget on behalf of the client (Sheffield City Council) Deliver all relevant project governance documentation & quality assurance Support work stream leaders in identifying detailed requirements Define scope, goals, work packages, work streams and deliverables Design project plans incorporating 3rd party and external dependencies Your experience will include: Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent PM qualification Must have experience of managing Project Budgets Minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management Business change projects and programmes Customer management outsourcing markets Agile and waterfall project methods Expert in the use of Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint What's in it for you?
