Technical Support Engineer
PDQ have the pleasure in recruiting for a global business within the Aerospace industry. A well reputed business within the MRO sector the work they carry out is safety critical to ensure planes stay in the air.
They are looking for a bright individual to come and join them as a Technical Support Engineer on a permanent basis.
The role of a Technical Support engineer is a varied one. You will report directly into the Engineering Manager and will provide technical expertise, support and advice into the production facility. You will have the following responsibilities:
.New Production Process
.Technical Documentation review. (ATA manuals beneficial)
.Investigation of occurrences. Hazardous and non-hazardous.
.Production information review ? BOMs, Routes and Picture sheets.
As a Technical Support Engineer you will ideally be degree educated, although a HND with sufficient experience will be considered. Having exposure to working within an aerospace company, ideally within an MRO environment would be fantastic.
If you have already been in a Technical Support Engineer (TSE) role and have achieved grade 2 that would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite for the role.
