3rd Line Windows Engineer - £300-350pd - London

DGH Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading and well-established client who are looking for a 3rd Line Windows Engineer to join their 3rd Line team based in the London office on an initial 3 month contract basis.

The role provides server infrastructure support for the Microsoft Windows Server Operating System environment, which consists of circa 50 servers and 500+ Users across multiple domains covering multiple geographic locations. The role is a 3rd line escalation technical support for the other IT functions such as Service Desk and second line support teams.

Technical Skills Required
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003-2012 R2
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory 2008/2012
- Extensive Knowledge and experience of Active Directory Federation Services for O365
- Experience in Cloud infrastructure implementation
- Power Shell scripting
- A good understanding of networking fundamentals
- Web filtering and Proxy technologies
- Knowledge and experience of hybrid Exchange environments - 2010 and O365
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining and administering Citrix Xen App v 6.0 or similar
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012
- Familiarity with virtual infrastructure (VMWare/Hyper V)
- Knowledge of Desktop Operating system automated deployment (SCCM, Altiris, Ghost, MDT)
- Experience of using Solarwinds for monitoring and troubleshooting
