IT Network Manager - Voice & Data - CCNP

Projects based not so much Operational.

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated and personable individual who will be responsible for our client's IT Network & Voice services across the business, resulting in consistent, reliable, secure and, resilient communications for the company. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who also demonstrates a high level of customer service while being recognised as a technical authority.

As a People Leader/Area Leader, you typically achieve results through defining, assigning and delivering work and team objectives by managing other people. These could be your direct reports, or be part of projects/areas that you work on.

Technical Skills
  • 5+ years' experience managing a network & voice team.
  • CCNP Qualified.
  • Strong experience of Wireless Technologies - Aruba.
  • Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Coach, mentor and carry out employee appraisals.
  • Experience establishing & maintaining key suppliers relationships.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
  • Work closely with PMO function to deliver project pipelines.
  • Experience of IT budget management.
  • ITIL - Qualified.
  • Familiar implementing and defining ITIL processes.

  • Team leader with line management responsibilities.
  • Must have good self-discipline, including a willingness to observe technical standards and a commitment to produce effective documentation.
  • Must have an enthusiastic, participative style capable of gaining the commitment and support of others and building strong, productive team relationships.
  • Must have an absolute commitment to service quality and customer focus.
  • Must be able to efficiently manage shifting project priorities, demands and timelines.
  • Must be trustworthy with sensitive information.
  • Methodical approach to planning and completing work to strict deadlines.
  • Must have a flexible approach to the content and hours of work.
  • Ideally, will have an understanding of the Construction industry and of the deployment of IT within the Construction environment.
