World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for an Agile Coach / ScrumMaster who appreciates the depths of agile practices and principles and who can help teams appreciate them too. You are passionate about communication, group dynamics and coaching and you are not afraid to raise issues and drive change to remove impediments across the team.
There is a fascinating challenge within this role: as we are starting from scratch, you will take the full responsibility of shaping the ways of working within cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams in the heart of London. This is a unique role in a "start-up" venture environment within corporate foundation which requires an enormous amount of passion, drive, commitment, speed and agility.
Responsibilities:
  • Educate and infuse Agile Delivery Hub members (at all levels including senior) on Agile Principles, providing them with right tools and giving trainings
  • Mentor teams by giving feedback, means for improvement and hands-on support
  • Develop Agile Adoption strategy, which includes introduction, fostering culture, sustaining and continually offering strategies for improvement
  • Implement Agile methodology by implementing Agile process, principles and practices which increase collaboration, predictability and transparency
  • Lead by example to promote culture of experimentation and innovation
Requirements:
  • Coached high performance customer centric and product-driven teams as an Agile Coach or a Scrum Master for 6+ years
  • Proven record of being able to transform waterfall mindset teams to operate in a truly agile manner
  • Have strong and diverse network that can be leveraged on to build strategic relationships and create high performance team
  • Proficiency in programming languages (?)
  • Scrum Coach certification
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Experience coaching at large organisations
This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
