Our client, an exciting and rapidly growing pharmaceutical company who specialise within Ophthalmology are currently looking to recruit a Territory Sales Manager for their Surgical Ophthalmology team, covering the London territory.

The Role:

* Promote company's range of Surgical Ophthalmic products across the London territory to customers such as Ophthalmic Surgeons & Consultants, Specialist Nurses and Procurement
* Establish partnerships with customers, in both the NHS and the private sector
* Responsible for developing key opinion leaders across territory
* Develop business plans for the territory to manage all aspects of the business
* Work closely with Marketing to develop and update promotional materials
* Personally manage and identify key accounts in the territory to maximize growth in existing accounts and win new business


* Previous medical device sales experience and ideally previous pharmaceutical sales experience
* ABPI qualified
* Proven record of achieving sales success
* Ability to present clinical data at a senior level
* Flexible "can do" attitude and resourcefulness
* Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products
* Awareness of NHS policies and structure
* Proven record of ability to work independently and take ownership and accountability of results
* Experience of gaining formulary and protocol inclusions or similar process
