Our client is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the world offering a range of therapeutic products and they are recruiting for a Key Account Manager to cover their Northern Ireland territory. This is part-time role of 25 hours where my client is flexible on when those hours are. Salary is pro rate for this role.

Your role will be to achieve agreed sales measures and to fully implement the agreed marketing plan in your target accounts. You will engage with all relevant customers who are able to influence your product portfolio.

Your key responsibilities but not limited to;

* Establish profitable relationships with key stakeholders within secondary care and relevant primary care accounts, to include joint working where appropriate with medicines management teams, commissioning groups, joint formularies etc.
* Have a deep understanding of the clinical data relevant to the product and competitor products, and able to utilise this to advance its favourable positioning versus competitor products
* Data analysis and preparation of effective account plans in collaboration with the NSM to include positive guidance and position for products on hospital formularies, ICPs and joint formularies
* Implementation of account plans to include the establishment of the product on formularies and within ICPs (integrated Care Pathways), plus understanding of the local health economy (including local measures and targets for thrombosis management and monitoring)

This is true KAM role and as such our client is looking for candidates who are ABPI qualified, degree educated or equivalent and who have experience in cardiology. This is essential.
A thorough understanding of the procurement and formulary process within Northern Ireland and a proven track record of outcomes in this area would be a huge advantage for this role. You will be able to influence relationships and will have an excellent understanding of local NHS accounts, with the ability to drive, change and achieve success.
