Roc Search's Client is currently recruiting for a 1st line support engineer based in Liverpool on a 3 month contract.

The Role

We require a 1st line engineer to join an established business and team delivering high quality customer service to support the office and remote workers.

  • Provision of first line IT support in the areas of software and hardware, escalating IT issues where necessary, using remote tools or desk side visits.
  • Support and maintain desktop infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Installation or relocation of new and existing IT hardware.
  • Installation or upgrade of new and existing software using deployment software
  • Assist in the testing and maintenance of the corporate Wide Area Network.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the corporate Intranet
  • Assist in IT projects
  • Build good relationships with 3rd party IT suppliers
  • Patching of data and telephony networks
  • Ensuring maintenance of asset databases
  • Configuration of blackberry devices
  • System administration
  • On-call support.
