A leading systematic trading Hedge Fund are growing their modelling technology team due to their strong performances across the markets. They have a position within their quant team for a strong developer/technologist to work on their execution platform, data acquisition systems and their algorithmic trading systems. This Scientific Programmer (C#, Ruby, R, Python) position will see you work closely with the business and a wide variety of technology utilising your mathematical skills.

This Scientific Programmer (C#, Ruby, R, Python) position will see you build tools for and work closely with the risk team, compliance teams, research and portfolio management teams. Their tech stack consists of C# .net, Python, Ruby, R and ReactJS, but experience with all of these is not essential. Ideally you will have exposure to one of these languages and be passionate to learn more, but will have a strong background in maths and previously worked within finance.

Key requirements within this Scientific Programmer (C#, Ruby, R, Python) role are as follows:
  • Previous experience within the financial sector
  • Strong background in either Maths of Physics
  • Previously worked within a quantitative role
  • At least 2-3 years commercial programming experience
  • Worked with trade execution technology - Desirable
  • Experienced with either C#, R OR Ruby
