Are you a University Graduate with a degree in English or an associated subject looking to gain experience within a school for this academic year to support your future route into Teaching?We are currently working with a Secondary School in Telford within Shropshire who are looking to appoint a University Graduate in English to support within their English Department for remainder of this academic year September 2017-July 2018.If you are planning on a career as a Secondary Teacher and want to gain paid work within a school we could have the job you have been looking for!***Cover Supervisor - English***Possible Opportunity of on the job Teacher Training for 2018/19***Shropshire***Contract for the Remainder of the Academic Year (ASAP July 2018)*** 12000 - 16000Protocol Education are currently working with a Secondary School in Telford in Shropshire who are looking to appoint an University Graduate with a degree in English with the capability of supporting the schools GCSE and A-Level pupils. The role is offered on a full time 5 day a week basis and will offer you the opportunity to gain paid work within a school for the remainder of this academic year. There may be the possibility of staying at the school for the academic year 2018/19 where you will be able to complete on the job teacher training. The role will see the successful applicant taking on a supporting role within this Secondary School. Duties can vary from day to day, working with a variety of different year groups and ability levels. You could be doing general classroom support, working with small groups both within and outside the classroom. You could be working with students who have been identified as requiring intervention, supporting them in achieving their target grades, with the gifted and talented or when working with GCSE or A-Level pupils often with those on key grade borderlines. Other duties could see you delivering pre-planned lessons to pupils taking the lead role in class.You will be required to work the full school day, starting no later than 8.30 and finishing around 4.00 unless you are supporting extra curricular activities after school.
