Superstore Manager - Charity / Retail
Severn Hospice has a network of shops across Shropshire and Mid-Wales. These shops generate a substantial level of income to support Severn Hospice to care for patients and their families from the community we serve. At the heart of this retail offer, is the Shrewsbury Superstore.
Salary: £21,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 6.6 weeks annual leave entitlement
This new operation is due to open in early 2018 and is designed to be our highest turnover, and most profitable outlet. The store will act as a central point for the sale of donated goods on the shop floor, and within twelve months open up into Ecommerce.
Our shop focus is on empowering volunteers to maximise their potential within our shops. In a large, retail environment, the Superstore Manager is responsible for all aspects of our superstore operations including ? recruiting, managing and leading a team of paid staff and volunteers to maximise the sale of goods, the sourcing of donated product, and ensuring the store develops a community presence for Severn Hospice?s wider reach.
