Job Summary:

A new, fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join our flourishing projects practice, focussing on complex infrastructure projects. The role will focus on complex single projects, or on multiple projects. The successful individual will have significant experience in managing this type of engagement, and will be highly proficient in change management, and managing the scope of projects. He or she will also be used to managing virtual teams and will come from a background where the focus will have been on technology oriented projects. Typical infrastructure projects will include contractual service transitions, transformation projects, datacentre relocations, Rollouts, WAN projects, IP projects, VDI/Virtualisation engagements.

Key experience:

* Office 365 Deployment/Rollout
* Windows 10 Rollout/Deployment
* Office 365 Evergreen

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Defining, shaping and leading projects, which can be of a large and/or strategic and/or complex nature.

This includes:

* Employing accurate estimating techniques, and to use product-based planning, risk management, change management, monitoring and control appropriately.
* Running projects adopting the accepted best practices including Prince2, and ensuring the project team do so too.
* Monitoring, and reporting on, the overall profitability of the project
* Running stages, tranches or other parts of a complex or large project or programme on behalf of a Senior PM
* Conducting activities that lead to a customer purchasing project services
* Participating in pre-sales presentations and meetings
* Working closely with management to develop and enhance service offerings

In each of the above duties the following approach is required:

* To work effectively with their project team, their customer, their management, and the others stakeholders in the project.
* Gains a full understanding of the project finances including the management of the project code.

Key Requirements:

* Holds Prince2 Practitioner qualification
* Must have experience in having managed at least 3 large infrastructure projects of £300000 services value (excluding hardware)
* Experience of running a number of large or complex infrastructure projects successfully
* P&L management experience
