Summary of Department Focus

Provide Quality Engineering and Assurance services to client from various business domains. The aim is to provide best in class end to end service to help clients deliver quality product/processes for their customers.

Summary of Job Purpose

Client is rapidly transforming into a Digitally-led business on a massive scale in order that we can serve customers better. This involves analysis of large number of transactions and data to extract insight and value from it. We are looking for a Test Analyst for on-going projects in data-warehousing and automation space, who will ensure the releases are error free with minimal disruption to the Service operations of the Bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create Test artefacts (like Test Scenarios, Test scripts) in line with an agreed Test Strategy, writing automation Test scripts and maintaining Test traceability
  • Interactions with Development, Business, Environment and other support teams
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Execution of SIT test scenarios and Identifying defects and working with the project/ feature team to provide fixes preventing defect leakage. Helping to capture lessons learnt to prevent similar issues in the future
  • Input to key test deliverables (i.e. Detailed Test Plans, End of Test Report)
  • Defect Management

  • Knowledge of Data Analysis, data mining and data preparation
  • Knowledge of Big data/ RIT/ Automation


  • Requirement Analysis
  • Create deliverables like test scenarios, test scripts
  • Create automation framework and test harness using web services / automation tools
  • Interactions with Development, Business, Environment and other support teams
  • Input to key test deliverables (i.e., Master Test Plan, Detailed Test Plans, End of Test Report)
  • Defect Management
  • Input to Daily / Weekly status reports


  • Graduate.
  • Additional testing qualification preferred such as ISTQB Foundation certification.
