DevOps Engineer - Systems Admin - IIS - Scripting - Azure - near Tunbridge Wells

A well established, growing company who area key partners with worldwide brands in their field, are seeking an DevOps Engineer.
Working in a small development team, working with some of the best in the industry, using the latest technologies.

Based near Tunbridge Wells, this is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring DevOps Engineer to establish themselves at a passionate and successful expanding company. Working on SaaS products, hosted and developed internally.

The company work within a .NET environment, using and moving into the latest technologies in all aspects. They can definitely consider people of various levels and experience, having the drive will lead you to progress hugely with the company.


As a DevOps Engineer you will need to have:

- Experience of medium/large scale solutions - distributed systems, scalability and bottlenecks

- Exposure to web systems and architectures

- An understanding of maintaining highly scalable infrastructure in all lifecycle environments including Development, QA, Demo, UAT, Staging and Performance Testing, amongst others

- Ability to write test scripts in C# or Python would be beneficial

- Azure knowledge

- Experience of working in an Agile environment


As a DevOps Engineer you will be:

- Maintaining and supporting existing and future application infrastructure, moving from IIS to Azure

- Managing highly scalable application platforms, including deployment and development

- Proposing solutions to issues when required, which will include researching new systems, tools and technologies

- Tasked with creating and maintaining deployment scripts

- Automating all areas from deployment to the monitoring of systems and incident response

- Working with the development team to effectively and efficiently release new software

- Orchestrating the delivery of applications and tools

- Inspecting tickets and analysing logs of the developers
