My Client, a leading player in the medical device industry are looking to bring on an experienced C++ Software Engineer to work on the next generation of products there.

The role will involve writing Greenfield software in an agile environment and overcoming problems such as implementation of algorithms, performance optimisation in C++ and taking ideas and work done in MATLAB and converting it into software.

The role is for a 6 month initial contract, although this could extend longer and it will be a 37.5 hour week.
There is an element of flexibility regarding remote working and flexible hours worked, however you will need to be on site during part of the week.
They are looking at paying between £40 and £45 per hour for the right candidate who fits these requirements.

The following skills are essential:

A strong head for mathematics or background in working with complex algorithms
Experience using Visual Studio 15 (or Above)
Experience working with Signal Processing or Image Processing
Excellent C++ coding abilities, having used C++ extensively and recently

The following skills would be highly desirable:

Experience working to medical device standards, in particular IEC62304
Previous experience or knowledge of MATLAB
Experience of GPU programming in CUDA or OpenCL

Furthermore any experience working in a medical device background or one with similar industry standards such as defence, automotive or XRay would be looked upon favourably.

Interviews are taking place immediately so if you are interested, please me through a copy of your CV as soon as possible.
They can wait for the right client so even if you are in a contract role at the moment, if you are interested please get in touch and I can discuss the role in more detail with you.
