As the SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for the development, configuration and support of solutions on SharePoint and Bizagi. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most up to date software alongside SharePoint 2013, 2016 and the Office 365 suite as well as Bizagi business process automation software.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate software engineer or a SharePoint developer looking for their first move; you will join an already successful team responsible for our in house web development and line of business systems support. Summary of responsibilities

To administer and develop College systems and to support the development and implementation of IT applicationsTo take the technical lead role in supporting and developing the Sharepoint platform and applicationsTo take the technical lead role in supporting and developing the Bizagi platforTo take a technical role in IT Projects that require the skills and expertise of own area.To take a lead role in liasing with customers and consumers to design and develop business solutionsPrincipal duties

Operational Duties are to administer and develop College systems including SharePoint, Moodle, eTracker, MyDay and other web based applicationsTo support the development of content for SharePointTo take the lead role in the development of business process efficiencies using Bizagi and automation workflow processes.To test and apply security patches and updates as necessaryTo adhere to College defined development standards for all evelopment projects, to contribute to the development of standardsTo communicate effectively with all affected parties throughout the lifecycle of an issue or project.To contribute to and document operational processes and procedures that will maximize the efficiency of the team and contribute to the operational efficiency of the whole IT Services Team.To follow and contribute to a robust and documented change control process for the Software Development TeamTo provide support to the other IT Services TeamsTo follow and contribute to Software Development Team processes and procedures and assist in ensuring that all documentation is completed, updated and made available to all IT Services Teams.To provide technical advice and guidance to individual IT projects and to contribute on relevant technical matters within projectsTo provide support and technical expertise to IT projects.To provide cover for other College developers as and when requiredStrategic Responsibilities are to provide guidance to SMT regarding best practice and development of SharePoint and associated collaboration and workflow processesTo work with stakeholders to identify, analyse and where appropriate implement business process efficiencies using SharePoint and other collaboration and work flow toolsTo contribute to the development of the IT strategy.To contribute to the implementation of the IT strategy.To assist in delivering IT strategic goals in own team.To assist other IT Service Delivery Teams to deliver their strategic goalsService Improvement are to identify and report on own development plans and training opportunities where possible. Contribute to own development through the staff performance review system and regular one to one meetings.Actively contribute to the development and improvement of the IT Service by scanning for appropriate new technologies and contributing to Service Improvement plans.Identify and report improvements to processes and procedures within own team.To be responsible for identifying own training needsHealth, Safety & Security is to ensure that all College Health & Safety Policies are adhered to in own working practices.To ensure own awareness of relevant health & safety policies.To complete and where appropriate escalate risk assessments for own work area.To comply with all College policies regarding appropriate dress and visibility of identification badge.Standard Responsibilities for all positions in B&FC:
