We are hiring the Global Senior Epidemiologist for a leading international Biopharma.

With an accomplished R&D team, they have created a promising pipeline to compliment their strong platform of marketed products and ensure the continued growth of the business. Evidence, and specifically Real World Evidence, forms a crucial part of the company's vision and strategy for long-term sustained success, with significant resources invested in this function.

The role will be responsible for leading the design and delivering evidence-focused projects. It will contribute directly to the Global Epidemiology & Real World Evidence Strategy and the creation of evidence generation plans where required by the business. It will also play an essential role in helping to identify new investment and development opportunities through data analysis and forecasts. The position will collaborate closely with other functions, including Market Access, Health Economics, Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Operations.

Preferred candidates will have:

- MSc, PhD or equivalent in the field of Epidemiology or similar, including Health Economics, Biostatistics or Public Health

- Proven ability to deliver successful Real World Evidence projects from concept stage

- Experience in early drug development research and analysis

- Publications in professional peer-reviewed scientific or clinical journals

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and in an international matrix structure

The company would ideally like this position to be based in their UK office in the Greater London area, but there may be some flexibility to be based in some other European cities. The salary is competitive and dependent on the level and quality of previous experience.
