Major healthcare brand enjoying fast expansion are building out their permanent development team and seek talented JAVA Developers with 5+ years of commercial development experience. Your focus will be on Back End work, joining systems together at the data level. The essential criteria reads as follows: S trong Java software development experience with good knowledge of open source technologies, testing and documentation Experience delivering integration services using open source Java frameworks such as Apache Camel. Experience with Java deployment models such as (i) open source application Servers (such as Tomcat or Jetty), (ii) Embedded application Servers (such as Embedded jetty or Tomcat), (iii) containerisation (such as Docker), (iv) OSGI (such as Apache Karaf). Experience with messaging Middleware technologies (such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Azure ServiceBus or similar). Experience of working with third party suppliers during the design and build of integration solutions Experience of documenting clear technical design proposals API development, documentation and management. Understanding agile environments, continuous integration techniques and dev-ops cultures Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies Systematic approach to solving problems Experience of using automated and manual testing to validate solutions Understanding of agile development and scrum Experience with performance and scaling integration services Ability to read and understand solution design documentation Be responsible for developing system integration interfaces between corporate applications including cloud services, utilising a variety of industry standard tools, technologies and languages. Be responsible for evaluating business requirements, performing situational diagnosis, and supporting business cases Be accountable for ensuring high quality code is delivered using agreed standards, patterns and processes Be responsible for working collaboratively as part of a multi-functional team, focused on one or more agile projects Be responsible for operating within a community of developers and architects, adding value to the whole through innovation, ideation and collaborative development of technical standards This is an urgent role with prompt feedback offered, apply now to hear more.
