Insurance Project Manager - £65k- £75k - Central London

We are actively seeking a driven and innovative Project Manager with a strong background in the Insurance market and dealing with clients in this sector. You will be taking a lead role on building and implementing complex software and IT solutions to clients in the insurance sector.

The successful Insurance Project Manager will be responsible for:
  • Manage and co-ordinate multiple projects with high-profile clients
  • Effectively engaging with stakeholders and clients, building rapport and developing strong relationships with the ability to identify opportunities for further development
  • Work at a client-site on an ad-hoc basis, particularly during pivotal milestones of projects
  • Run workshops to gather user requirements and any risks/issues they may face
  • Working closely with clients to build comprehensive understanding of business processes and business terminology


In order to be considered you must demonstrate:
  • Strong background in running projects end-to-end successfully, within time and budget
  • Hands on project management background
  • Insurance sector background (ideally life, health and pensions)
  • The ability to use a flexible approach to projects with regards to methodology; particularly interested in Agile and Waterfall experience
  • Managed projects valued in excess of £1.5 million
  • Managed IT implementation projects, ideally from a consultancy and delivering to clients
  • Proven ability to effective engage and manage with stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to identify new opportunities for business
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to work from their London-base on a daily basis but also travel to client sites on an ad-hoc basis (with occasional overnights away from home)
