To conduct AML and Regulatory Compliance reviews on the company prepaid card Programme Managers.
To develop a programme to monitor the financial crime and compliance outsourced arrangements with programme managers. This will involve both desk based reviews and on site compliance reviews of programme managers and third parties firms who operate products under WDCS regulatory permissions;
Formulate meaningful reports of the findings of the reviews and communicate these to the Programme Managers and senior management within the company.
Conduct follow-up meetings to confirm closure of review findings
To provide recommendations to clients relating to appropriate controls to implement to mitigate financial crime and compliance risk;
To oversee an oversight process which gives the company comfort that its clients are complying with regulatory and company policies and identify areas of responsibility which can be outsourced to clients;
To have oversight of outsourced key responsibilities to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and WDCS policy;
Work as part of the team to assist in the assessment and maintenance of all aspects of Regulatory compliance, ensuring that appropriate policies and procedures are in place;
To promote an open culture amongst clients which encourages clients to notify the client of issues and breaches in the first instance;
To develop the production of Management Information which is meaningful and based on key department performance metrics;
Aid in the development of a meaningful risk process which rates Programme Managers, enabling WDCS to operate an effective risk management process and enabling the easy identification of risks and problems effecting clients;
Assist in the delivery of training to specific areas of the business and external partners as and when required;
Represent the department on projects as required;
Liaise with business units, providing guidance on the interpretation of legislation and WDCS policy and procedures and to communicate effectively with relevant Heads of Departments and Team Leaders;
To identify improvements to processes and procedures across the financial crime and compliance business area to assess risk and suggest practical, sensible solutions to mitigate unacceptable risk which may exist;
Promote an open and honest risk culture across the business maintaining records of incidents of risk and providing guidance where existing controls may have failed or require enhancing;
Undertake any other reasonable duty as requested;
To adopt a Risk Based Approach (RBA) to anti-money laundering, Compliance and financial crime risk.

Essential Skills/Experience
Three years minimum experience of AML, Fraud and Risk Management within a financial services environment;
Understanding of the suite of regulations in the UK covering anti-money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing;
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
Experience of AML and Compliance frameworks within multi-channel and multi-product environments;
Ability to work within a rapidly changing environment;
Well organized with the ability to work to tight timescales and demonstrate attention to detail;
Able to use initiative and be creative in making risk based decisions that support the development of the business without exposing the company to unacceptable levels of risk;
Well presented and professional with a positive, solution focused outlook;
Confident and articulate with an ability to adapt interpersonal styles dependent upon the audience;
IT skills: Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
