We have an exciting permanent vacancy for an IT Change Management Analyst to join the Group Technology and Change Infrastructure Division in Wilmslow.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure all IT, Facilities and External Supplier changes that affect all Royal London Business areas are governed and controlled effectively as to minimise any impact to the delivery provision of the services.

Responsibilities:
  • To manage day to day running of the GTC Change Management process.
  • To provide guidance towards the design and development of the GTC Change Management process.
  • Provide training to new users as part of GTC Induction Process and ongoing support to existing users.
  • To ensuring all IT, Facilities & External Supplier Changes affecting Royal London are effectively governed and controlled in order to minimise impact on delivery or provision of services through: -
  • Identification & Registration of Changes.
  • Impact/ Risk Management & Change Authorisation.
  • Change Scheduling/ Managing Conflict Resolution.
  • Reviewing Compliancy & Providing Change Management Reporting.
To arrange/ manage the GTC CAB Process and represent the Change Team on CAB's with External Suppliers e.g. IBM and STERIA.To manage/ plan Monthly IT Maintenance and 4 Powerdowns per Year through: -
  • Identification & Communication of appropriate dates.
  • Managing Conflicts/ Escalating Priority Calls.
  • Planning, Production of & Agreement to the Maintenance Plan.
  • Collation of Review/ Lessons Learnt.
To manage business requests for Service extensions.To update/ maintain the Future Systems Availability Page on the Hub.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Good knowledge/experience / appreciation of change management principles.
  • Very good knowledge of RL businesses and their service availability requirements (essential).
  • Very good knowledge of frameworks that can be deployed to strong governance such as ITIL, CoBit (essential).
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certified (required)
  • ITIL - Service Capability - Release, Control & Validation Certified (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of Business operations that are supported by GTC IT (desirable).
  • Good overall knowledge of the IT infrastructure and the relationship of its components (desirable).
  • Very good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels within RL and external suppliers.
  • Very good communications skills, especially verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Very strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, sorting important from urgent business needs.
  • Total commitment to focus on customer service delivery.
