GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

POP Science is delighted to offer teh position of Global Account Manager

Our client is a leading global provider of SaaS clinical development solutions that enhance the efficiency of customers' clinical trials.

Their advanced solutions lower the total cost of clinical development by optimizing clinical trials from concept to conclusion.

Their diverse life science customer base spans biopharmaceutical companies, medical device and diagnostic companies, academic and government institutions, CROs and other research organizations, and includes more than 18 of the top 25 global pharmaceutical companies as well as organizations of all sizes developing life-enhancing medical treatments and diagnostics.

Still led by Co-Founders they go from strength to strength with global presence including USA, Europe, and Asia. They are now growing their sales team in Hammersmith and you could be part of their ongoing success.

They are looking for a Global Account Manager to join them in the Hammersmith office London.

We are looking for candidates with Strong life sciences software sales experience.

Here's an idea of what you will be doing:
Achieving sales and account growth objectives in named accounts including identifying and qualifying platform growth opportunities, and efficiently leveraging resources in order to bring opportunities to a successful conclusion.Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction - consistent with the business principals.

You will already have:

* Consistent attainment of all revenue and booking targets within assigned accounts
* Development and execution of strategic global account plans
* Representation in the field in a manner consistent with company business principles and ethics
* Effective collaboration within sales and other departments in order to achieve objectives
* Maintaining and updating account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including SalesForce.com
* Quarterly and/or annual sales targets are covered under a separate document

You should recognise yourself here:

* Strong life sciences and/or application software sales experience
* Proven track record of driving large/mid-size account growth and exceeding sales targets
* Demonstrable success in strategic account development at an enterprise level
* Proven ability to develop C-level customer relationships
* Demonstrated consistent tenacity and drive in achieving new product/services sales growth
* A passion for the life sciences industry
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills - with the ability to connect at senior levels
* Strong understanding and experience/success with consultative selling principles
* Ability to gain executive credibility, understand organisational political dynamics and competitive awareness
* Strong business planning and organisational skills

Education & Experience required:

* Bachelor's degree required
* Strong record of success in exceeding yearly sales targets( statements will be required please include with your application. )
* Strong understanding/experience of solution/consultative sales techniques
