Our client is a European, specialist Pharmaceutical organisation, who have a unique opportunity to join an already established team in the GI therapy area. The role will be working as a Regional Business Manager across the Scotland area. Our client is looking for motivated individuals with excellent coaching and people management skills, and the desire to develop a long-term career within their business.

Requirements:
Degree level, preferably in Life Sciences, or a professional qualification e.g. Nursing, Pharmacy.
ABPI qualified.
A minimum of 3 years pharmaceutical sales management experience including both Primary and Secondary Care.
High level of data analytical skills.
A demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the changing NHS and health care professions.
Excellent understanding of the payor and funding environment.
Full understanding of the formulary process.
Proven track record of promoting products to Secondary Care and being able to influence product endorsement and prescribing practices.
The ability to coach Sales Representatives for improved performance.
An ability to write strategic and tactical plans coupled with an understanding of the measurement of profitability.
Evidence of continuing professional development being undertaken.

Role Responsibilities:
Deliver, in conjunction with the National Sales Manager, product sales and expenditure objectives for the region.
Provide high quality leadership to the Specialist Sales Representatives in the region.
Work closely with the Partnership Managers to agree and be responsible for the delivery of KAM objectives.
Develop the annual regional business plan in conjunction with marketing, considering, regional differences. Achieve the regional sales targets.
Analyse and interpret available data to ensure that the Hospital Representatives are appropriately targeting their activities.
Spend 3 to 4 days a week in the field developing the team and working with KOL's. Complete all field based paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Effectively manage the regional promotional and marketing initiative budget.
Manage, coach, train and develop the Hospital Representatives in the region to achieve objectives using appropriate Company policy and procedures.
Through leadership and direction motivate the team by recognition and reward to maximise the business opportunities indicated in the plan.
Provide market intelligence / feedback to support national campaigns.
