Project Assurance Engineer - Aerospace, AS9100: A well know Defence Sector Engineering company are looking to recruit a Project Assurance Engineer at their site in Luton

Project Assurance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to delivering product to Specification (conformant) and schedule.
* Support Business Processes in - Lifecycle Reviews, including Design (PDR), Implementation (CDR), Test (TRR) and Release
* Configuration Management including Change Control Boards
* Process and Release auditing
* Report progress and issues to their Projects and to their Line manager
* Plan and prioritise own activities, may coordinate team activities.
* Take responsibility for their career development, work with line managers and task managers to identify and achieve objectives
* Analyse and communicate data to support the understanding of information and decision making.
* Assure the quality of Plans, Processes and Products of Development and Delivery (production) Projects, following quality standards and procedures.
* May be involved with customers and supplies and with Quality planning.
* Participate in non-conformance management, including Corrective Action and process improvement.
* Undertake a range of specialist assurance tasks in Project Team and in the Quality function.
* Provide advice and guidance on implementing procedures and using tools to meet quality requirements.
* Manage their own work with limited supervision and resolve problems and queries, possible by managing others to achieve objectives

Project Assurance Engineer Qualifications and Experience:
* An Engineering or Quality Assurance degree
* Chartered Quality Institute membership
* Aerospace industry quality assurance experience
* Detailed knowledge of function-specific development processes (e.g. software or firmware engineering), Requirements Management, Configuration Management, Verification and Validation.
* Administrative and organisation skills.
* Practical knowledge and experience of a number of relevant processes and procedures e.g. AS9100D
* Evidence of Continual Professional Development (CPD)
* Demonstrate effective time management and prioritisation

The successful candidate will be required to achieve full SC clearance!!!!!!
