A highly respected Facilities Management company require an Electrical Engineer to carry out a range of multi-skilled maintenance duties and minor works projects. An excellent opportunity, the salary could go up to £28,000 per annum basic. Reporting to the Contracts Manager the successful candidate will be tasked with managing their workload and carried out effective electrical testing and maintenance duties. Your new role
Joining an established team you will be a mobile engineer based mainly in the greater Belfast area covering an array of contracts predominantly within the private sector. Your duties will include general Electrical Maintenance, Testing and Inspecting and carrying out small installation works when required. With a company van provided you will be given a set amount of daily PPM tasks to complete to the highest standard as well as response maintenance when required. This is a multi-skilled role so you will also cover some mechanical systems including HVAC maintenance. All works will be carried out with proper compliance procedure and with communication between HQ and clients.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be required to hold formal qualifications such as an NVQ Level 3 electrician or equivalent. You will need to have completed City and Guilds 2394/2395 Level 3 and hold current 17th IET Wiring Regulations. You will also have CSR/CSCS H&S qualification or equivalent. Due to the nature of the contracts the ideal candidate will be required to have experience in installation and maintenance works within commercial and industrial sectors and be able to communicate findings accurately. Ideally you will have experience working for a similar Facilities Management provider.
