Temporary finance assistant position working for a private sector organisation in Edinburgh
Your new company
Reputable UK wide organisation is going through internal change and looking to bring a talented finance assistant on board to assist in the busy finance function.
Your new role
You will report directly into the finance manager and work within a team of 5. You will assist with all aspects of transactional finance in particular accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payment runs and month end. You will do all other adhoc duties as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you need to have a strong background in transactional finance. You will have experience in purchase ledger and sales ledger and reconciliations and month end and year end. You will have used accounting systems in the past and have good knowledge of Excel. Experience in multi-currency transactionals is beneficial but not essential. In person you will be bright and confident, you will be analytically minded with a keen interest in accounting. You will be immediately available and looking for opportunities in Edinburgh
