IT Security Architect/Consultant

As a Security Architect you will be supporting customers with selecting and specifying market leading network security solutions for a number of our key technologies. You will be deploying planning, managing and deploying solutions to all sizes of our customer base including our largest customers. The team is made up of members with a variety of skills and talents, you will also be supporting the development and training of other team members.

? Juniper Firewalls, Routers and Switches

? Cisco Firewalls, Routers and Switches

You will be...

We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of computer network security who has an in-depth knowledge of many of the technologies we work with. In addition we expect all our architects to have a good understanding of most of the following areas and ideally excel in one: Active Directory, Windows, Linux, Routing, Wireless, Firewall Technologies or email.

Skills Profile:

Technical qualifications: Several years' experience working with several of our key technologies Related IT certifications and or degree is advantageous

Soft skills: Planning deployment of small to large sized security solutions Ability to communicate complex security concepts and requirements in concise and simple manor Passion for network security and keeping up with technology developments Ability to articulate technical information to those less informed both written and verbally Commitment and drive Confidence and ability to step out of your comfort zone. Be a proactive self-starter and highly motivated with a can do positive attitude. Well-organised and commercially aware Self-aware - the ability to identify your own weaknesses and short-falls and work with a team of technical people, to help improve and develop your skills. Maintain a professional and polite disposition at all times Ability to work under pressure Valid UK Driving License
