Senior Service Desk Analyst / Team Lead - £29,457 - £33,671 + Benefits - 12 Month FTC

An excellent job opportunity has arisen for a Senior Service Desk Analyst / Team Lead to join one of the most established organisations in South Wales on a 12 month fixed term contract. This position boasts plenty of opportunity to grow, extend your tenure or join other projects once this term has ended.

Our exclusive and high-profile customer operates a complex technology environment including information, communications and operational technologies with 2000 users and 5,000 sites, supported and monitored 24/7.

Due to progression they are looking for an experienced Senior Service Desk Analyst / Team Lead to join their Service Management function. You will oversee the day to day running of a busy 24 x 7 x 365 service desk function delivering excellent customer service, instil ITIL principles, engage in Incident management and ensure all calls are dealt with, within given service levels via a robust queue management process.

To be successful in this post you would have a minimum of 3 years leadership skills with the ability to manage a large Service Desk taking escalations when needed, mentoring, coaching, motivating and providing monthly appraisals. You will have experience of engaging in Incident Management, continuous improvement to ensure process and procedures are efficient, the management of major incidents and reduction of escalated tickets.

You will also need an ITIL v3 Foundation qualification and an understanding of telephony and ITSM Technologies.
