C# Developer, ASP .NET MVC, DevExpress , HTML5, Equities Research, Fixed Income, Quant Research, SQL Server, Javascript, Excel, node.js, Fund management, asset management, investment management, banking, hedge fund.

Successful Equity Research Group continues to invest in providing Portfolio Managers with the best Research and modelling applications which are implemented using C#, ASP .NET MVC and SQL. They are looking for a talented C# Web Developer to work on the full life cycle development of applications involving extensive communication with the business to capture and analyse requirements and develop them from end to end. They are an Agile house both in terms of methodology and approach ie they believe in delivering systems without copious amounts of unnecessary process whilst ensuring that all applications are part of a strategic plan.

Skills and background required:Strong development in ASP .NET a C# Developer with at least 4 years in the delivery of primarily ASP .NET applications with current ASP .NET MVC required and DevExpress particularly useful.

Good SQL Skills gained in SQL Server (preferred), Sybase and/or Oracle
Exposure to Fund Management, Trading or Investment banking or similar market area preferable with excellent communication skills to elicit requirements from the business.

Experience of contemporary Web technology very useful ie HTML 5, Kendo UI, Node.JS, Knockout.JS, Angular.JS

There will be some fairly complex Data Analysis so good Excel would be a plus.

In the role of C# Developer, you will join a small team of business reporting developers in a great working environment where IT and business enjoy a close, collaborative relationship. There is considerable new development to do so problems solving and solution design are as important as strong technical skills.
